About Megacare

Twenty-two years.
One standard.

Megacare Home Health Services has operated in Greater Houston since December 2003. Same ownership. Same operating discipline. We are a Medicare-certified home health agency built for the cases other agencies will not accept — and we staff them with a clinical standard that is documented, inspected, and verifiable.

The Origin

Founded from
the bedside.

Ms. Elizabeth Okoye-Dike founded Megacare Home Health Services on December 11, 2003, with a clear objective: build an agency where clinical rigor and operational discipline are non-negotiable. Not a tagline. The actual operating standard.

From a single Houston office, Megacare earned Medicare certification on April 7, 2005, and has maintained continuous federal and state compliance ever since. The agency now delivers skilled nursing, private duty nursing for high-acuity cases, personal attendant services, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion, and medical social work to adult and pediatric members across Greater Houston.

When hospitals need a home health agency that can manage tracheostomy care, ventilator-dependent members, and other complex discharges, they send those cases to us. We receive referrals from Greater Houston’s major hospital systems, pediatric subspecialty clinics, and home infusion specialty agencies.

Our most recent state inspection, on August 1, 2024, returned zero deficiency findings. When staffing is thin, our founder still works 12-hour bedside nursing shifts herself. That is the kind of agency this is.

Still takes PDN shifts when the schedule needs her. That is not a story. It is a staffing protocol.

Milestones

on the record.

  1. 2003

    Founded in Houston

Ms. Elizabeth Okoye-Dike, RN, incorporates Megacare Home Health Services and opens the first office in Greater Houston with one operating standard: clinical rigor and documentation as the baseline, not the ceiling.

  2. 2005

    Medicare certified

CMS certification #673193 issued 2005. Continuous federal certification maintained without lapse through every inspection cycle since.

    BBB A+ accreditation

Better Business Bureau accredited with A+ rating. Zero unresolved complaints on file at accreditation. That record is intact today.

    Zero-violation state inspection

Texas HHS routine survey, August 2024. Zero deficiency findings across clinical documentation, EVV compliance, staff training, and plan-of-care reviews.

    22 years. Ownership unchanged.

Twenty-two years of continuous operation under the same founder. The agency still operates the way it was built to operate — from the bedside up.

I still take bedside shifts. That is not a story — it is a staffing protocol. If I cannot confidently put my own license behind a shift, we will not send someone else to work it.

Values

Three principles.
Applied every shift.

Not marketing copy. The actual framework behind how we staff, document, and supervise.

01

Structure.

Every shift has a schedule. Every visit has documentation. Every caregiver has a supervising RN. EVV compliance, GPS clock-in/out, and point-of-care charting are enforced, not encouraged. Structure is what keeps members safe.

02

Precision.

Care plans are built around the member and the ordering physician, not generic templates. Medication schedules, assessment cadences, and therapy goals are tracked and reviewed. Every detail matters because the member feels every detail.

03

Accountability.

When we accept a case, we own it. Our founder still takes PDN shifts herself when the schedule runs thin. We do not pass problems to families — we solve them. Twenty-two years and zero violations is what accountability looks like in practice.

The Ethos

We do not scale by cutting corners — we scale by never cutting them in the first place.

Founder & Principal

Ms. Elizabeth Okoye-Dike

Ms. Elizabeth Okoye-Dike founded Megacare Home Health Services in December 2003 and still runs it with the same hands-on discipline. A registered nurse by training, she personally works 12-hour bedside shifts for high-acuity PDN cases when staffing requires it.

Under her direction, the agency has maintained continuous Medicare compliance since 2005, earned BBB accreditation with an A+ rating, and received zero violations on its most recent state inspection.

She does not manage from a distance. She manages from the bedside.

Serving Greater Houston

Coverage ends where
staffing quality begins.

We serve the Greater Houston metropolitan area — exclusively. We do not overextend geographically because staffing quality matters more than coverage area. If we cannot guarantee the caregiver, we will not accept the case.
